This 76-Year-Old Man Runs A FREE Auto Ambulance & Has Won Our Hearts With His Act Of Kindness

This Is A Representative Image

It’s not always that one finds a good Samaritan who comes forward to help someone in need. But there’s a tender-hearted senior citizen in the city who runs a FREE ambulance for people who fall victim to road accidents.

A Token Of Kindness | Harjinder Singh is a 76-year-old former traffic warden who runs an auto-rickshaw. But what sets him apart from others in the city is the fact that he’s on a mission to offer help to anyone who falls victim to road mishaps. Yep, he uses his auto to give a lift to injured people and even offers free medicines. He has saved approximately 100 lives till now and even works EXTRA hours to save up for his auto ambulance!

He has placed a donation box in his auto but does not ask for money. He uses the amount that’s collected in the box to buy medicines for accident victims including FREE diabetes medicines to those who ask for it.

Do you know he took a small course to acquire knowledge about how to use medicines in emergency situations? His auto reads ‘free medicines for patients of diabetes’ and people often go up to him and ask him for the same when they read the sign. He has a diary in which he notes down the names & addresses of the people who reach to him for medicines.

Whatever money he makes in a day, he uses half of it to buy medicines which are then used the following day. Plus, since he claims to be an Ayurvedic Doctor, he often advises people on how to be healthier - nice. It warms the cockles of our hearts to think that such affectionate and sympathetic souls reside in our city!
