The new government is all set to take charge again and it’s time for the PM’s swearing-in-ceremony. Keeping this in mind, a traffic advisory has been issued for the general public and we have all the info you need!

These Delhi Roads Shall Remain Closed | The Delhi Traffic Police has cited security concerns during PM Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony - the PM will be taking the oath on Thursday, the 30th of May at 7 PM and accordingly, arrangements have been made for smooth flow of traffic, which is why several roads will be closed in the city from 4 - 9 PM. This historic event will witness 8,000 guests and this is touted to be the largest ever event held on the premises.

Roads leading to Rajpath, Vijay Chowk, North & South Fountain, South Avenue, North Avenue, Church Road and  Dara-Shikoh Road shall be closed to the public. Commuters may see traffic diversions in other areas like Akbar Road, Krishna Menon Marg and Teen Murti Marg, which will likely get a bit congested as a consequence.

So plan your travel accordingly, peeps!
