It’s said that the metro is the lifeline of the city and rightly so! And the fact that a new metro link is being proposed to connect Faridabad and Gurgaon is a huge deal for us!
New Metro Link On The Cards | The buzz is that the Haryana Government is planning to revive the proposed metro link between Gurgaon and Faridabad. There have been discussions previously about connecting the two cities for a while now which kept getting delayed and now, this is 5th such proposed project! There might be a 31-km long metro line from Bata Chowk in Faridabad which will connect to Huda City Centre in Gurgaon on the Yellow Line.
But right now, it’s a toss-up whether the link will be at Sikanderpur Metro Station or at the Sector 55-56 Rapid Metro Station. The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) had recently given a green signal to the construction of 31-km long metro corridor that will begin where the Yellow Line ends and will reach inner parts of the city - nice.
Let us know what you think about the proposed link in the comments section below!
