There Are 4 New Cafeterias At The IGI Airport Made Entirely Out Of Scrap Materials

Saddi Dilli has been on a go-green spree and we ain’t complain’. Recycling is the need of the hour and the more we do it, the better. Jumping on this bandwagon is Delhi's IGI Airport and we’re totes rooting for them!

Cafes Built From Scarp | On your next visit to the IGI Airport make sure you keep an eye out for the newly ‘recycled’ cafeterias. The Delhi airport operator has built 4 cafes at the international and domestic terminals that are completely made out of recycled material - nice! From the table tops, ceilings and seats to the lamps, everything has been crafted from dismantled machines, scraps from the airport building and old metallic and plastic fittings.

You can find these eateries on the 3rd level of T-3, in the parking bay, T-3 basement and near the arrival area of Terminal 2. These cafeterias are open for the airport staff as well as the visitors, so make it a point to check them out the next time you land up there!

We’re totes applauding this move and hope more such innovative moves follow in the future!
