The SC Lays Down The Law: Complete & Total Ban On Sale Of Firecrackers Forever!

The sale of firecrackers just got banned in Delhi altogether! The Supreme Court just announced that considering the pollution level that’s reached a whole new grade due to excessive bursting of crackers, has now led to a complete ban on their sale.

The licenses of all firecracker sellers in the region have been suspended forever. Delhi faced a major (read catastrophic) hike in the level of pollution post Diwali, it actually became so bad that it was being termed as deathly! 

Diwali will from now on have a completely different meaning as far as Delhi is concerned. But at the cost of our lungs, giving up crackers is easily acceptable!
