The Mughal Gardens Will Open From Saturday For Public Viewing And Here's All The Info You Need
For us Delhiites, February marks the annual ‘Udyanotsav’ which sees the opening of the coveted Mughal Gardens at the Rashtrapati Bhawan for a limited period of time. And we just heard that these gates are opening again, so make sure to catch a glimpse of this sprawling lush garden, folks!
That Time Of The Year! | It was announced on Thursday, the 11th of February, that the gates of Mughal Gardens will be open from 13th February to 21st March. The annual Udyanotsav allows the visitors to catch a glimpse of thousands of flowers like roses, tulips and lilies, in the sprawling garden. This year, however, you will have to make pre-bookings and walk-ins will not be allowed, owing to the current scenario. 7 pre-booked slots will be available from 10 AM - 5 PM, with the last entry being at 4 PM with each slot accommodating 100 people.
There will be thermal checks and entry & exits will be from gate number 35 of the President's Estate. No cameras, water bottles, briefcases, handbags/purses, radios/transistors, eatables and boxes will be allowed. Arrangements for hand sanitiser, drinking water, toilets and first-aid/ medical facility will be available. Besides the lush gardens, visitors can also visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum.
So, don’t give this annual event a miss!
