A few weeks back, we were all surprised to hear about the demolishment of the tremendously famous Banjara Market in Gurgaon due to concerns regarding encroachment. But recently, we’ve heard some whispers that the market may be back… wanna find out? Read on! 

Is The Banjara Market Back?! | Much to the delight of shopaholics and home decor hoarders, a few shops of the famous Banjara Market are up and running at the old location, while some have shifted to a new location alongside the Golf Course Extension Road. 

Although the market has reduced drastically in size with fewer shops and almost no presence on the service lanes like before, yet the outstanding variety of products is still there, at unbeatable prices. The shopkeepers who have returned to the erstwhile markets ensure that the land they’re currently occupying is not public and that they’re trying to come to an understanding with the local government so that they don’t get evicted. 

Other than these handfuls of shops, an offshoot of the market is also operating at the Golf Course Extension Road, much to the delight of those who live in societies nearby.
