The Decision To Open Malls & Restaurants Might Be Reanalyzed As COVID-19 Cases Surge In Delhi
This Is A Representative Image
Recently it was announced that malls and restaurants in the city will be opened to the public after being closed ever since the country went on a lockdown on the 25th of March. But with the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country, this is what may be in store for them.
Closing Again? | Although recently malls and restaurants were allowed to open again in the city, a meeting was called in on Tuesday where the Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal and all the parties were asked if malls and restaurants should be shut again. Though the curbs were lifted by the Centre to revive the economy, cinema halls and the metro continue to remain shut.
And so, the Delhi Government and the Lieutenant Governor are deliberating if these places should be shut if the number of cases rising does not decrease.
What do you think? Should the malls and restaurants be shut again?
