Sunder Nursery Has An Exhibition That Shows Origami Isn't Limited To Paper


For all those who think origami is only confined to paper, there are people thinking out of the box. Oritecture is the art of combining origami & architecture. What if we tell you that there is an exhibition in Delhi that shows the perfect blend of origami & metals? Read on to know more!

The Song Of The Earth And The Sky | Located at Sunder Nursery, the exhibit named The Song of the Earth and the Sky by Ankon Mitra, a Shanghai Biennale returned artist takes inspiration from Sunderwala Mahal and responds to it using origami forms. The pavilion is crafted using mild steel arch frames, hand-folded sheet aluminium, with copper finishes, pebbles, grass and the perfect touch of LED Lights.

If you stand a few steps away from the exhibit, it looks similar to the pleated pattern of time sparkling under the sun. Make sure to check this magnificent view out at Sunder Nursery. The exhibit will be placed till 23rd April, so make sure you head over for some art therapy and make the most of this weather, ‘cause it’s gonna get hot soon.
