Stay Informed With Dry Days In Delhi NCR And Other States During Lok Sabha Elections 2024!

In an official notification, the Delhi government has announced the days that will be observed as dry days. This decision is in light of the single phase of the 18th Lok Sabha elections scheduled to take place in the national capital on May 25. Apart from Delhi, neighbouring regions of the National Capital like Noida & Gurugram also have dates with a prohibition on the sale of alcohol.

2024 Elections Dry Days | As per the government directive, Delhi will observe dry days for three days- 23rd May, Thursday May 6 pm onwards to 25th May, and Saturday till 6 pm. While regions in Noida, Bhapat Nagar, Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddh Nagar districts of Uttar Pradesh will observe dry days from 24th April, Wednesday 6 pm onwards to 26th April, Friday till 6 pm. Gurugram in Haryana will observe dry dates from 23rd May, Thursday 6 pm onwards to 25th May, Saturday till 6 pm. 

Additionally, a full dry day will be observed on June 4, 2024 all over the National Capital Region, as it is the counting day of the Lok Sabha elections. On this day, numerous states and cities, such as Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Bengaluru, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Goa, will also observe a dry day.
