Soon You'll Be Able To Seamlessly Stream TV Shows While In The Metro With This New Development

This Is A Representative Image

Isn’t it annoying when you’re about halfway through your fave episode and the screen suddenly freezes? If you’re someone who travels in the metro a lot, you must be well-acquainted with this scenario and how frustrating it is. But we have good news - all these network issues are about to become a thing of the past!

Say No To Connectivity Issues On The Metro! | All you Delhi Metro passengers can now breathe easy, ‘cause these guys have finally started the process of setting up mobile towers at 94 stations (woah)! The DMRC will be installing mobile towers across 5 corridors for better mobile coverage in the coming months - nice. We can expect the project to be completed after 6 months of initiation, once the responsibility for setting up the towers is handed over to the telecom companies.

A number of underground stations face connectivity issues owing to which these mobile towers will be established at 14 stations of the Violet Line, 15 on the Red Line, 36 on the Blue Line, 11 stations hailing from the Green Line and 18 stations of the Yellow Line. Plus, the Blue Line will feature mobile towers from Noida City Centre Station to Shadipur Station and Laxmi Nagar to Vaishali plus Kirti Nagar to Noida Sector 8 metro stations. However, this plan does not include the metro stations on the Magenta and Pink Lines currently.

Here’s hoping this project gets completed quickly and we get seamless network soon!
