The New MVA’s Got Us | According to the latest amendments in Motor Vehicles Act, Delhiites, might soon have to shell out Rs 1,500 for travelling ticketless in the DTC or the cluster scheme buses. Earlier, the fine was Rs 500 by the Delhi Government and was capped at 200 bucks by DTC!

Word is that ticket checkers catch approx. 245 people every weekday and on weekends, they apprehend an average of 145 people who travel ticketless and due to this, DTC undergoes a loss of Rs 1 crore a day due to this.
