Our Guide For What Street Food To Try And What Not To @ Dragon Hut In Pitampura

We come across tons of Chinese street food stalls daily, but there are few that stand out from the rest. If you’re on the lookout for street joints where you can fill your stomach with appetizing food without totally emptying your pockets, then we’ve got something amazing for you. We found one such street food joint called Dragon Hut. Situated near the local AP Block Market of Pitampura, Dragon Hut serves delicious Chinese dishes, burgers and soups.

It’s pretty famous around the area and right around 2 PM when they open their store, people begin to gather around the stall, phones start ringing and a guy starts taking orders for home delivery. And every couple of minutes, a car stops by and the driver would shout out his order.\

We checked this buzzing place out and here’s what we have to say about them -

Chilly Chicken

Dragon Hut is well known in the area for their extremely chilli, Chilly Chicken (no surprise there, eh?). Cooked with onions, capsicum and coriander, it’s mixed with a perfect blend of various sauces - soya, red chilli and tomato. We just couldn’t stop ourselves from diving right into this as soon as it were served to us!

Price | Rs 200 (Half Plate)

Veg. Spring Roll

You should definitely try these Spring Rolls whenever you’re around Pitampura. The best thing about these delicious pepper-sprinkled spring rolls is their special tangy chutney! They are stuffed with cauliflower, onions, and carrots; and served with some chopsuey and salad on the side. Nom nom!

Price | Rs 100 (Per Plate)

Dragon Hut Special Chowmein

We now know why it’s called the Dragon Hut Special dish! It definitely lives up to its name - and then some. If you’re not into eating spices, this THE chowmein dish you need to try. Topped with fresh slices of paneer - no kidding, they are sautéed with onions, capsicum and pepper corns and are scrumptious!

Price | Rs 100 (Half Plate)

Chicken Burger

We had a lot of expectations from this overloaded Chicken Burger, but it didn’t really please our taste buds as much as it did our eyes. It was filled with onions and capsicum, and sprinkled with pepper and garlic. The buns were pan fried but the chicken had a distinct odour and wasn’t really cooked well. So, that’s a big no from our side!

Price | Rs 90

Veg Chopsuey With Tomato Soup

Definitely worth the hype, you will go back to Dragon Hut to have some more of their delicious Vegetarian Chopsuey. The tomato soup was mouth watering and the salt and pepper on the top didn’t change the flavour. It was served in a huge bowl along with our favourite crunchy and masaledar noodles!

Price | Rs 120

Dragon Hut provides value for money and extremely tasty food. You guys should totally check it out if you’re in Pitampura (don’t forget to take your shades or umbrella along). We’re going back there again for sure. How about you and your taste buds?!
