Now That Half Of HKV Is Practically Shut - Here Are 8 Nearby Bars You Can Head To Instead!

Delhi’s erstwhile favourite party hub - Hauz Khas Village suffered a huge blow last week when 21 bars and restaurants were sealed shut by the Delhi Pollution Control Committee on account of lack of mandatory environmental clearances needed by establishments to run in the area. The restaurant owners were given a notice earlier this month, but it seems they never complied *sighs*.

Most of you must be thinking your party plans are now ruined, but that’s not true at all ‘cause we’ve got you covered! Here’s a list of 8 other places around the cramped and controversial Hauz Khas Village that you can head to for a smoother party scene:

1. Raasta

Raasta chose the perfect time to scurry over from HKV to nearby Green Park, don’t you think? The recently opened outlet safely escaped the darkness that currently surrounds HKV and made sure you guys continue to have the great time you always do at this famous party place, even when the Village is stuck in the middle of a controversy! Come swing by for your share of Karaoke!

2. Turquoise Cottage

Known for its amazing platters and drinks combos, TC is the perfect place to head over to after HKV recently lost the battle of compliances at the hands of the city government. Their finger food is known to be finger licking good and they even have awesome comedy nights, so you’re definitely in for a good time here!

This newly opened café deserves your attention as it has opened just in time to catch the crowd and attention that Hauz Khas Village is losing out on after so many of its bars and restaurants were ordered shut with immediate effect. 5. The Bar - The Junction

A beautifully decorated place away from all the hustle bustle, The Junction is an awesome place to be if you’re looking to have a great time with intimate circle of buddies. Close to HKV, but far from the maddening crowd and controversy, this place offers a nice green and flowery outdoor seating area that’s usually hard to find in Delhi NCR!
