New Delhi Railway Station May Soon Get A Revamp To Make It Look Like International Airports

Indian Railways is definitely the backbone of the country so it comes as no surprise that the New Delhi Railway Station is one of the most crowded stations in the country. And folks, we just heard that it’s probably in for one major makeover!

One For A New Look | The Railway Minister of the country recently drew up a plan for a massive overhaul of the New Delhi Railway Station and to convert it into a world-class airport-style hub. The proposed image of the revamped station sketched out by the artist displays a high ceiling and lush green plants which makes it look like an international airport!

According to the new design, the station will have a separate entry and exit gates for travellers. Once the tenders are given, it will take around 4 years to complete the station. As the first phase of the redevelopment project somewhat 110 acres of land will witness a revamp.

Let’s hope they renovate this place ASAP!
