NDMC Has Set Up A 24*7 Flu Corner To Help Healthcare Workers In COVID-19 Screenings

We all are well aware of the fact that doctors and healthcare workers are constantly putting their lives at risk while they work punishing hours battling this virus. To make things somewhat easier for them, this step has been taken in the city.

One For The Healthcare Professionals | New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) recently set up what is called the ‘flu corner’ in Moti Bagh. This makeshift tent is a unique 24*7 structure for the health care professionals so that they can screen the suspected COVID-19 patients with minimal contact. This is a temporary canvas tent structure sporting a glass partition and a microphone which allows the doctors and medical staff to examine the patients.

This ‘flu corner’ has been set up inside the premises of Delhi's Charak Palika Hospital in Moti Bagh away from the main hospital to avoid the intermingling of regular patients and the people with flu-like symptoms. Plus, a CCTV has also be installed inside the tent which is connected to Central Control & Command Centre (CCC) under the Smart City Mission.
