Markets & Malls In The Capital Might Open Up On An Odd-Even Basis Post Lockdown 3.0
The entire nation came to a standstill from 22nd of March onwards and now Delhi is opening up slowly, and we just heard that the markets, shopping complexes and malls might open up as well on an odd-even basis. Here’s more on this.
Life Post Lockdown | Lockdown 3.0 ends on 17th of May and the Delhi Government has suggested opening the markets, construction activities and Delhi Metro. With this, the shops in shopping complexes and malls, that are dealing with non-essential goods might also be allowed to operate on an odd-even basis. The movement of labourers might also be allowed within the capital, taxis with 2 passengers will be allowed and the buses will run with 20 passengers while following the social-distancing norms.
The authorities further said that different economic activities will be allowed in Delhi from 18th of May, but there are no clear rules till now on this and the CM has also said the lockdown cannot be lifted completely because of the high number of cases.
