Summer School at the British Council

Summer School is a fun-filled, project based course that happens once a year at the British Council Teaching Centre. Children  improve their English  by engaging in script writing, story telling, plot and character development and much more, putting together a spectacular show for their parents at the end of the course. They’ve got two themes this year, Shakespeare and Roald Dahl namely.

Akshara Summer Workshop For Kids 

From May 22nd to June 24th, Akshara Theatre will be buzzing with kids from the age group of 4 to 17, while they join some interesting summer workshops while they practice theatre, music, art, modern and classical dance, art, craft, Sanskrit chanting and Yoga, taught by eminent personalities in their respective arts.

Theatre celebrity Jalabala Vaidya and her daughter, filmmaker-director Anasuya Vaidya will work with youngsters on theatre, poetry, music and chanting. There are quizzes, drawing competitions, film-screenings, healthy snacks and drinks and exciting special workshops as well.
