New Year, New Look? | The Lal Quarter stretch in Krishna Nagar market was recently upgraded with yellow lines for passerby’s, flower pots, benches and pretty lights. The East Delhi Municipal Corporation has restricted the movement of vehicles along the 1.5 kms of Lal Quarter stretch as a part of parking and pedestrian plan. Several guards have been stationed at different parts of the road and a number signages have been installed.
The market place now has a seating arrangement which makes shopping all the more fun as you can now take pitstops after you’re done with your first round of shopping. The stretch which was previously known for its chaos was relatively more peaceful.
