Pay Homage To The Memories Of All The Brave Soldiers At The National War Memorial

The reason we go to sleep peacefully at night is that there are numerous brave soldiers who are standing valiantly at the borders of the country. Be it the highest battlefield at Siachen or the one in the midst of the desert in Rajasthan, they’re always alert and ready to lay their lives down for the citizens of the country. And so, to commemorate their sacrifices and the men who have laid their lives down for the country, there’s a War Memorial near India Gate.

A Peaceful Start To The Morning

When you visit the place, you’re instantly enthralled by the beauty of the expansive complex. The walls have names of soldiers engraved on them who were martyred while they were on duty, protecting the nation. As you walk around reading through the names, you may just be able to picture them walking beside you relaying the story of the fierce battle that once happened. 

The birds chirping in the background, faint honking of cars and the rising sun in the morning, it’s a great time to pay homage to the gallant souls.
