The Big Chill Cafe is a 20+ years old Delhi-based cafe and is one of the most ICONIC eateries in the city. Ever since it opened its first outlet in the year 2000 in Kailash Colony, it has gained quite a cult following (talk about starting a millennium with a bang!). And if you’re someone who’s been to this popular cafe, you will know what the rage is all about and if you still haven’t, what are you even waiting for?! After all, isn’t it a popular saying that you live only once, so why deprive yourself of this experience?

Following the colour scheme of yellow and green, it’s this one thing that’s common across all the Big Chill outlets. They all have posters of movies from the yesteryears of Hollywood like Dracula, The Motorcycle Diaries, Blood Bath and LOTS more. Plus, the yellow-mustard brick walls make these posters pop out! It truly boasts of a vibe like no other.

If you’ve been to this cafe then you know what we’re talking about! They even make salads like Caesar Salad taste so refreshing and lip-smacking, it’s no joke. So, while you’re here, you have to try a bunch of other dishes such as Penne Ala Vodka, Brotchen Pizza Rolls, Fish with Mustard & Herb sauce and Chicken & Porcini Mushroom Risotto, to name a select few dishes. And once you’re done devouring these yummies, keep some space in your tummies for decadent desserts like Mississippi Mud Pie and Chocolate Tiramisu Cake *yum*.

These folks have gained such a fan following for its desserts that now they have opened outlets called The Big Chill Cakery for cakes & pastries, and The Big Chill Creamery for smooth & silky ice creams. Both of these parlours are adorned with light-coloured wallpapers that give it a whimsical look and fits the dessert place imagery we may all have in our mind.
