From Malls To Salons, Here's What's Allowed And What's Not In Delhi Under Unlock 1.0


A day after the Ministry of Home Affairs announced the guidelines for Unlock 1.0 that began from the 1st of June, Delhi has now issued a separate list of what’s allowed to open and what’s not and everything you need to know about this is right here.

1. Delhi’s borders will remain sealed for a week, starting from the 1st of June. No one from Noida and Gurugram will be allowed to enter Delhi without passes.

2. Barbershops and salons are allowed to function while spas will remain closed.

3. Shopping complexes and market places can function without any odd-even rule while malls will stay shut.

4. Restaurants can open for home-deliveries and takeaways but other hospitality services shall remain closed.

5. Industries can operate without staggered shifts but work from home is advised for private offices.

6. Places of worship will stay closed and any kind of gathering like social, political, religious or educational is prohibited.

7. Construction work can begin in the capital.

8. Two-wheelers can ply with pillion riders and buses can run only with 20 passengers.

9. Metro services, schools and other educational institutions will remain closed for now until further notice.

10. Cinemas, halls, gyms, swimming pool, auditoriums and similar places are not allowed to function under Unlock 1.0

The restrictions will be added or removed after the assessment of the situation, and till then, stay indoors and stay safe, folks!
