DMRC Will Soon Construct A Walkway Connecting The Pink & Green Lines Of The Delhi Metro

Seems like DMRC is finding ways of making our lives easier every day for the feats being achieved by the Delhi Metro on the regular are no joke. And in keeping with that, this latest piece of news that we caught wind of is yet another crown in the jewel of DMRC and will prove to be quite a relief for the frequent passengers of the Pink and Green lines!

Just A Walkway Away | From what we’ve learnt, DMRC has apparently planned to construct a 230 meters long walkway to connect Green and Pink lines. So, basically the trains running on the Green Line will be stopping between Punjabi Bagh and Shivaji Park metro stations. Passengers would get down and will have to walk till Punjabi Bagh station on the Pink Line through the walkway. Construction of this structure would further help the city connect better as both the lines run through many major and densely populated localities with the Pink Line consisting of 38 stations and Green one comprising 21 stations.

Well, now all those living near the green line, don’t you worry about going to Sarojini or South Campus as it’s just a walkway-away!
