Delhi's Decades-Old Iconic The Oberoi Is Re-Opening With A Bang On 1st Of January
The Oberoi New Delhi, Lutyens Delhi’s 52 year old gem, is finally reopening on the 1st of January boasting of having the cleanest air ever after a major round of renovations! Nice. It’s coming back as a more contemporary and new age destination after being shut for the first time for as long a period as 20 months!
What’s New | The hotel will welcome fewer guests now because the number of rooms has come down to 220 in number from the previous 283. The rooms and suites are much bigger now and sport large picture windows with a view of the Delhi Golf Course on one side and the historical Humayun’s Tomb on the other! WOAH! The interiors of the hotel have been designed in a contemporary interpretation of Sir Edwin Lutyens' New Delhi architecture.
There’s all new teak wood flooring, luxury Italian bathrooms, a ballroom with a capacity of over 300 guests along with three banquet halls right next door. This ain’t all, they’ve also got temperature-controlled indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa and a 24-hour fitness centre. The future sees a rooftop bar too before the opening!
We’re super excited for this age old space to get re-launched next month!
