Delhi To Get 19 Pink Booths Exclusively For Women For Lok Sabha Elections This Year

Pretty In Pink! | Well, as y’all know, Delhi will go to polls on the 12th of May along with 7 other constituencies and for this purpose, a special move has been planned. 19 pink booths will be established exclusively for women for the Lok Sabha elections that will be staffed by women only! Did you know that before this, the pink booths have been used in other elections like the one in Karnataka? Yep!

This move, which is a first for Delhi, will showcase the capabilities of ladies and set an example for women empowerment. These booths will have an exclusively female staff of a polling officer, security personnel, micro observers and presiding officers! Plus, there will also be a booth in the North-East district that will be dedicated solely to the persons with disabilities and the other one that will be manned purely by them. Cool, isn’t it?
