1. Omny Kitchen

If you’ve grown up watching (and drooling on) Khana Khazana with your mom, then you might be familiar with Chef Vicky Ratnani (the star chef of Vicky Goes Veg). His newest restaurant, Omny Kitchen, is taking Gurugram by storm as he takes you on a world tour via his specially crafted dishes (pssstt…this time he does not go veg!). Omny serves dishes like Cold Ceviche of Seabass and Tuna that’s soaked in a spicy, citrus Marinade of Leche De Tigre and Kal Jeera, Lotus Stem Pakoras, and ‘Raan’ Birria Masa Harina soft tacos soaked in flavourful Birria Jus and Pickled Chillies. They also have handcrafted cocktails that pack a whole lotta punch. This is just the tip of the iceberg, but we will stop talking about it and let you explore it yourself.

2. Tuya Te

Here to transport you to beautiful Greece, Tuya Te is the newest addition to the Mediterranean restaurants in town. With an ambience that will remind you of Greece, this place is as good as travelling to Europe. The name Tuya Te blends Spanish and Sanskrit, which translates to ‘Yours, More’, emphasising the fact that this place is meant to have great conversations and great food. From pizzas, pastas and desserts like Burnt Basque Cheesecake and Choco Lava Cake with Ice Cream, Tuya Te should be where you go to satisfy your Mediterranean food cravings.

3. Kidang

Kidang is derived from the Tribal Language of the Ao Naga Community from Nagaland. It means “At Home”, which is exactly what this new cosy restaurant aims to do. The founders’ love for hosting dinners, cooking, and sharing food with loved ones poured into the concept of Kidang, i.e. to provide a therapeutic experience with their modern fusion food. Thus, a place we can call home and enjoy being a part of a soulfully created community. They have a beautiful, homely ambience and Pan-Asian cuisine featuring dishes like boas, sushi, noodles and more, just a touch of Nagaland.

4. Anjeer

At Anjeer, the Indian dining experience is simplified, and the flavours take the centre stage. Anjeer is a sister restaurant of the Fig cafes in Delhi, but they come bearing a twist. They have curated a menu of traditional Indian dishes and reinvented them to make them lighter and minimalistic yet flavourful. Kale Saag, Avocado Tostada, and Paniyaram with Prawn filling and sesame chutney are just a few of their mind-blowing creations. The Ambience is rooted in Indian accents with fabric lamps and textured sandstone walls. It’s a place where you can sit back and take in the environment along with some delicious food.

5. Remy’s Gurgaon

Remy’s is not a new name in town, but it is new in Gurgaon! If you’re living under a rock and don’t know what Remy’s is, let us educate you. If you’re looking for a vibe that’s slow and calming, then you better be heading to HINOKI. This minimalist coffee and matcha bar is where calm meets caffeine, and trust us, it’s worth the hype. They hand-press their espresso and hand-whisk their matcha (brownie points for no shortcuts), giving the beverages a smooth and earthy flavour.
