This 10-day fiesta is serving up stories that’ll make you laugh, cry, question reality, and maybe even spark your next dinner table debate. It’s not just about watching films,  it’s about soaking in the vibe, sharing the silence of a gripping scene with strangers, and fangirling over legends who’ve shaped Indian cinema as we know it. Hope you are ready for the drama because this film festival is going to be epic! 

Lights, Camera And SMILE! | The Habitat Film Festival (HFF) is back and it’s bringing a handpicked mix of feature films, documentaries, and shorts from 2024–25 across 24+ languages. With Dolby Atmos sound (yas, eargasm!) and top-tier projection tech, these screenings will be epic. From talks by top filmmakers, fun workshops, throwback film screenings of filmmakers and actors, to book chats; it’s going to be hella educational and entertaining at the same time. This year, HFF pays tribute to icons like Shyam Benegal, Aruna Vasudev, and Manoj Kumar, with retrospectives, screenings and exhibitions that’ll hit you right in the feels. Plus, the ever-iconic Shabana Azmi opened the Benegal showcase with Aparna Sen, and as southern superstars Rajnikanth and Chiranjeevi hit their 50-year mark, there will be a special ceremony to honor them. Oh, and let’s not forget centenary tributes to Raj Kapoor, Mohammed Rafi, Talat Mahmood, and Tapan Sinha (absolute legends!).
