We have all been guilty of dreaming up the most epic road trip, haven’t we? Well, if this is something you have been wanting to do for a long time, then very soon your wait will be over. Because we just heard that, you might be able to drive down to Mumbai in just 12 hours from Dilli! 

Mumbai Ab Door Nahi! | It is expected that the country’s longest expressway of 1,350 kms might be completed by January 2023. This means in 2 years you may be able to drive down to the city of dreams in just 12 hours. The project spans across the states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Haryana. Although the expressway has eight lanes at the moment, very soon it will be expanded to 12 and approximately 2 million trees and shrubs will be planted along the highway.

Sounds fantastic, doesn’t it?! This expressway is set to have several restaurants, resorts, food courts and fuel stations, across 93 locations. Plus, a proposition for hydrogen fuel pumps is also being considered. For the first time, it may also have helipads and comprehensive trauma centres for the victims of accidents.
