While Delhi is a cultural melting point, it is now home to many women-run restaurants. 1. Pizzeria Da Susy

Now, if you have not tried the Neopolitan pizzas at Da Susy, you have not truly lived! Period. Recently awarded the #1 in India and #13 in Asia Pacific by the 50 Top Pizza, this eatery is the perfect cure to all your woes. Susanna Di Cosimo, a native of Naples, Italy brought it upon herself to show us Indians the true authentic taste of Italian cuisine. While we recommend pizzas like Diavalo, Spinach & Ricotta & Zuccotta, there is a plethora of salads, panuozzos and desserts to choose from. 2. Sodabottleoperwala

Who does not know about this well-known and loved Parsi eatery in the city? These good folks are known for serving iconic Parsi cuisine and also for restoring the Bombay Parsi cafe culture. Kudos to them! The restaurant was the brainchild of chef Anahita Dhondhy, a Parsi herself, in collaboration with restaurateur AD Singh. Even though she is no longer part of the establishment, the quality, vibe and variety still remain top-notch. The ambience of the place is like a typical Parsi cafe setup that is laid back and casual. And oh, how can we forget! You’ve gotta try the classics - Irani Chai, Bun Maska, Raspberry Soda, Bombay Raasta Sandwich and so much more!

This restaurant is co-owned by Aditi Bicholia with her husband and has become a crowd fav for its cheesy pizzas, creamy pasta and lots more. The quaint restaurant has a wooden and rustic interior with a relaxed and casual vibe to it. 5. The Potbelly

Looking for authentic Bihari cuisine to devour? Well, look no further! This women-run restaurant will be your haven for Bihari food. The restaurant is one of the few cafes dedicated to Bihari cuisine in the city and is co-owned by Puja Sahu and Vivita Relan- a mother-daughter duo. This humble joint has a homely and pretty ambience which is ideal for those family get-togethers. From the iconic Litti Chokha, Champara Style Mutton, Baggia Basket to Maithili Thali, you’ve gotta try them all. So, tag along with your fam to this cosy and welcoming restaurant for a wholesome experience!

7. Parsi Anjuman

Ending our list with another Parsi restaurant! The Parsi Anjuman is situated in the Delhi Parsi Dharamshala and serves lip-smacking Parsi food. The restaurant was run by Dhun Dariaus from 1979 to 2017 and is perhaps one of the oldest places serving Parsi cuisine in Delhi. Experience a warm and inviting atmosphere as you dine in to satiate your palate. Don’t forget to gorge on Dhansak Dal, Patrani Machi, Salli, Khurchan Onion & Tomato Sabzi With Egg and Jerdaloo Murghi. So, come down to Parsi Anjuman to relish the unique Parsi cuisine.
