Bibliophiles Make Note, New Delhi World Book Fair Is Celebrating 75 Years Of Independence This Feb


The World Book Fair is back with a BANG! The 31st edition of the New Delhi World Book Fair is celebrating 75 years of independence with this year’s theme - AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAVA with lots of interesting things in store! Read on for more deets.

Lose Your Shelf-Control! | Spanning 10 days, this year’s book fair includes attractions for everyone and all age groups, including a Children’s Pavilion that will promote children’s literature and involve skits, dramas, storytelling sessions and other workshops, a special Yuva Corner dedicated to budding young authors where they will launch their works and interact with readers, and much more. Move over to the aesthetically decorated authors’ corners spread across the fair’s grounds for panel discussions and book launches.  

All those interested in publishing can also head to the CEO Speak and Right Table - a new addition to NDWBF, for business and publishing conversation and B2B match-making sessions. Complementing the celebrations, there will be fun music and drama performances by cultural organizations. 

All you bibliophiles, including us, have been looking forward to it and are extremely excited to start the year off with this major calendar event full of new talks, ideas, and of course, now we won’t have to come up with excuses because we have a real reason to splurge on books!
