Armed With Bags To Cart Away Excess Food, Robin Hood Army Is About To Descend @ Horn OK Please

Some heroes don’t wear capes, but they’re as powerful as Superman! Here comes Robin Hood Army, an NGO which, in the dead of the night, when everyone is sleeping or partying, does their little bit in bringing a smile on the faces of the scores of less privileged and hungry people out there. 

What They Do | What these guys do is that they strive to feed the hungry with leftover food from restaurants and other big gatherings. They’re headed to Horn OK Please presented by Pepsi to make sure that they catch hold of every little portion of food that’s getting wasted only to feed someone out there in need and not let them go to bed hungry. Awesome!

What They’re doing @ HOP | Robin Hood Army’s Robins will be at the event from 12 Noon - 10 PM and they’ll be taking leftover food from visitors as well as vendors and giving it to the less privileged later. Such a good deed right? Since it’s a food festival, we’re sure there’s going to be lots of wastage, and what better way to make sure that all that food can actually feed people and not go to waste?! 

They’ll be having a stall there too, so you can go speak to them about the organisation and find out how you can help! Other than this awesome element to the festival, there’s lots to look forward to here. A 60 foot BBQ trailer serving the best of smoked meats, 50+ varieties of waffles, 40+ food trucks, a super swanky Bira 91 bar + beer garden, a rad AF artist lineup of homegrown artists and a whole lot more!
