A Brand New Anand Vihar Metro Station Will Reduce Travel Time From East Delhi To GTown

Delhi Metro’s been doing some wonderful things lately and is being recognized worldwide for it’s credentials. Now there’s some more news for all East Delhi residents, a new Anand Vihar Metro station will reduce the travel time from East Delhi to Gurgaon guys! 

Yes it’s true, now the travel time will reduce by 30 minutes for residents of East Delhi and Ghaziabad travelling to South Delhi, Faridabad or Gurgaon. The new Anand Vihar station will fall on the Pink metro line bolstering the connectivity of Delhi! The line is a part of Phase III of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), a part of which is slated to open in May. 

The station will save travel time in Delhi as it will serve as an interchange point. Currently passengers from Vaishali have to come to all the way to Mandi House if they have to board a train towards Faridabad. Similarly if they have to go towards Gurgaon, they have to travel up to Rajiv Chowk to change a train however the new route will take them directly to Lajpat Nagar and INA from where they can change the train towards Faridabad or Gurgaon.
