Since the Diwali weekend, Delhi has done nothing but see & talk about the thick, grey smog enveloping the city. The respiratory illnesses grew 30%, the schools were shut down, and the suffering continued. However, the high wind speed brought some relief to the Capital. Keep scrollin’ to find out more about this happy news!

The Blue Skies Are Back | The pollution level dipped by 82% on Monday, thanks to the high wind speed. On Monday morning, the AQI was 575, and by evening, it was down to 103! The wind speed was recorded to be around 17-19 km/hr on Monday and as per the sources, more relief in the pollution levels is likely to occur from Tuesday.

The Delhi Government also plans to control the stubble burning in Punjab & Haryana, which is one of the major factors responsible for Delhi’s severe AQI. However, there has been a significant reduction in the stubble burning in Haryana in the past 2 days.

As of now, we’re happy to get a bit of sunshine, and we hope it gets better in the next few days!
