(A traditional food of Nepal & Tibet, owing to the Nepalese population living in Sikkim) And, other than giving us the love of our lives, Sikkim is also a breathtaking place that any adventurous soul would adore. Yumthang Valley, the valley of flowers in Sikkim has a gazillion flowers, hot springs, serene mountains, a scenic river, grazing pastures, rolling meadows, and yaks too! There’s nothing like the Great Rann Of Kutch in India, or even in the world. One of the largest salt deserts in the world, it is completely white in colour, and will surely take your breath away. A small oasis of water bodies and shrub forests, it is home to pink flamingos & wild asses. 3. Gulmarg, Kashmir 

There cannot be a list of scenic places to visit that does not include Kashmir and Gulmarg. The pure white snow-clad hilltops, and the otherwise ‘meadow of flowers,’ has almost an otherworldly peace and beauty to it. A paradise for skiing, y’all can also visit the Strawberry Valley & ride the Gulmarg Gondola - the highest cable car in the world - to take in the heavenly views to your heart's content! 

4. Nubra Valley, Ladakh

Nubra Valley is the northernmost part of Jammu & Kashmir, sandwiched between Tibet & Kashmir. It’s about 150 km from Leh and is known for its orchids, monasteries, Bactrian Camels, and of course, the striking and picturesque beauty! 5. Tungnath, Uttarakhand

Tungnath, nestled on the Chandranath Parvat, is the highest Shiva temple in the world. It is one of the 5 Panch Kedar temples in Rudraprayag. This is a place that you all MUST not miss, as the 4 km trek from Chopta to reach here is literally divine. The stone-paved trekking path is surrounded by lofty and majestic mountains all around and is a sight to behold. The temple that is more than 1,000 years old is also very pretty, and you can camp in the open grounds of Tungnath, beneath the starry and clear night sky. 

6. Agumbe, Karnataka

Covered with thick, green forests, sparkling streams, and cascading waterfalls, this ‘Cherrapunji Of The South,’ is located on the Western Ghats, on a mountain pass that connects the plains of Karnataka with the coastal region. This scenic place offers a magnificent sunset view, and you can legit see the sun dipping into the Arabian Sea. There are also several waterfalls and also a lake, so plan your visit ASAP!

7. Kaas Plateau, Maharashtra

Kaas Plateau, also known as Kaas Patthar is situated on the high hills of the Sahyadri Range in the Western Ghats, near Satara, Maharashtra. (140 Km from Pune) It has been declared as a biodiversity world heritage site by UNESCO, and this valley of flowers is laden with a variety of flowers of different colours, that seem to form a carpet of flowers of sorts. 8. Munsiyari, Uttarakhand

Munsiyari literally translates to ‘place with snow,’ and this quaint hamlet remains snowbound most of the year.
