1. No.1 Uncle's Parantha

It’s not just a name, they’ve earned that No.1 by serving lip-smacking parathas. From classic aloo to punchy pizza-style stuffing, their paranthas don’t believe in subtlety. Each one comes out golden, crisped to perfection, and stuffed to the rims. Come hungry because these paranthas don’t believe in portion control.

Delhi's favourite paratha Joint, Moolchand Paranthe Wala has been serving us scrummy paranthas for the past 50 years & is a major hub for college students, who come here to gorge on some hot and greasy paranthas that are served hot with mint and yoghurt chutney, pickles and chopped onions. 7. Paranthe Wali Gali

The bustling lanes of old Delhi are a delight for every traveller and a gem that resides here, Paranthe Wali Gali promises you the best varieties of parathas!  The paranthas served here are a mix of the traditional Punjabi paratha and the bedmi poori for they are not cooked on the tawa but deep-fried in a kadhai. They are served with spicy potato sabzi or curry and tamarind-banana chutney. Unique and scrumptious fillings like matar, khoya, papad, bitter gourd, banana, and rabdi make them taste like heaven. You can also have delicious lassi over here that is served in a kulhad for that lip-smacking taste!

9. Not Just Paranthas

This is one of the most legendary parantha places in town! The chur-chur paranthas served here are popular amongst locals, but the most unique parantha which you probably might have never heard of is the Sharabi Parantha. This parantha is soaked with alcohol overnight and stuffed with dry fruits to give it a bitter-sweet taste. While serving some rum is poured over it, so it can be mildly set on fire for a standout presentation and a smoky texture. Sounds too good to be true? Try this yourself asap!
