4. Wenger’s

This bakery, a Delhi landmark in itself, is easily decades old and was previously owned by a Swiss couple called the Wengers. It was then sold to an employee and is currently owned and managed by his grandson, Mr Atul Tandon, who is known to drop in almost every day, and personally oversee the running of the bakery. Despite the fact that it has changed so much over the years, Wenger’s still holds a firm place in Delhiites' hearts and continues to excel with its generous range of absolutely mouthwatering delicacies! We are in awe of the Shammi Kebab, pastries and sandwiches that we can't resist stopping by again and again.

5. Cha bar

Cha Bar features at the top of the list of affordable cafes in CP. Located inside a bookstore, the cafe with its wide variety of tea, salads, and finger-licking snacks is a perfect place to chat with your friends. Also, if you're here for a solo date, the books and the beautiful decor here will keep you company!  This cafe in CP is an ideal backdrop and amongst the best super fun places in Delhi, you can visit.

6. Bhimsains Bengali Sweet House

Bhimsain’s Bengali Sweet House is the best pick in restaurants when it comes to delicious breakfasts at affordable prices. Besides serving regular breakfasts like sambar idli, dosas, chole puri, chole bhature and sandwiches, this place has a lovely ala carte menu that includes bhalla papdi and other chaat options. You should also try regular thalis and combo meals while you're there.

This place has been serving the same menu since the very beginning, and change is something that they just don’t want! The recipes go back almost 50 years, and the owners believe they work the best as they have been all these years. Two giant dishes served here are the channa bhatura and the Embassy Samosa which come in both Non-veg and veg options that you can't miss! For dessert, do try the Embassy Pudding which has continued to win our hearts.
