A UNESCO World Heritage site, this national park is an ornithologist’s dream, where hundreds of distinct species of birds can be found. This park plays an important role in protecting migratory birds like Painted Storks, Sarus Cranes, Spoonbills and Black-headed Ibises, so if curiosity has got the best of you, then head on over!

2. Satpura National Park & Tiger Reserve

Home to leopards, long-limbed spotted chital, antlered sambars, sloth bears, and of course, tigers - the park offers jeep safaris, motorboats, and kayaks for a splendid tour! 3. Hemis National Park

It is also the home of the Siberian Ibex and Red-fronted Serin. Also, that’s when the landscapes are the most phenomenal and defo Insta-worthy!

4. Gulf of Mannar Marine National Park

The park consists of 21 small islands and coral reefs in the Gulf of Mannar Biosphere Reserve. And the most exciting part is the glass-bottomed boats, which are the only way to get to this park for visitors. And, it's also one of the most important residences of the rare herbivorous mammal, Dugong!

5. Keibul Lamjao National Park

Keibul Lamjao National Park is the world’s only floating sanctuary preserving the scarce and endangered brow-antlered deer, and it is as unique as it comes! It still isn’t very popular among tourists, which has helped keep it as untouched as possible. It is also home to the rare marbled cat and Asian golden cat, so make sure you don’t miss them out when you decide to drop by!

6. Sri Venkateshwara National Park

Popular for its many waterfalls, this park has rich avifauna. From yellow-throated bulbuls to grey-fronted green pigeons, you’ll find stunning species of birds and other animals as well. The park’s densely forested valleys, good maintenance and multiple safari options make it an excellent place for having an action-packed day.

7. Orang National Park
