7 Moments From The Family Man S2 Trailer That'll Get You Excited For The Premiere Tomorrow!

The Family Man is FINALLY coming back for 2nd season and we couldn’t be more excited!  We are SUPER glad that the creators fulfilled their promise of giving us a new season this summer and we are thrilled about meeting Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari again. The trailer looks promising AF and there are some moments that leave us in loud guffaws and some that raise our hair. Here’s a list of moments from the trailer that make us impatient and eager for the 4th of June. For those of you who STILL haven’t watched season 1, kya kar rahe ho bhai? 1. Srikant At A Different Job???

Were you also as surprised as we were when you saw Srikant working at a new job? He appears to be working at a mundane corporate job and being advised by his boss to not be a “minimum” guy. Gosh, the struggle! Srikant lived for the thrill and was devoted to his old job & secret life at the TASC force. We are excited to see how he deals with his new life as he struggles to maintain his relationship with his wife, and give us some of our favourite everyday middle-class family struggles, a characteristic of The Family Man we all love.

2. The Absolutely Hilarious & Sarcastic Remarks Of Srikant

Srikant’s moments at home have always been amusing and hysterical. We love how Manoj Bajpayee delivers these dialogues naturally and with a straight face! Just like last season, this season also has an uproarious father-son moment in the car. We can’t wait for more witty Srikant comments that leave us cackling with laughter. Just like in the “sham” scene, The Family Man even presents tense moments in a lighthearted way, we really can’t wait anymore!

3. But What Happened After The Season 1 Finale?

But wait, as we all know The Family Man had ended on a nail-biting cliffhanger, with the situation getting out of control. How did Srikant save the city? Did he even succeed? These are some of the questions that are troubling us still and we didn’t catch a glimpse of them in the trailer. We are curious to see how the new storyline unfolds and catches up to them.

4. A New Case??

We barely had time to get over the old one, with unanswered questions still, and now we get a new case? Oof! The makers are really outdoing themselves. The new danger is set in the “hot and happening Chennai”, and a new nemesis altogether! We see the first glimpse of a strong and brutal female villain in the trailer, and are pumped to get more!

5. Who Is This New Antagonist?

The trailer teased us with a new female nemesis of Srikant, called “Raaji.” She is the “new face of danger” staring Srikant in the face, and we were exhilarated to see the South Indian superstar Samantha Akkineni in a whole new avatar. She wears her new role with utmost ease and looks the right degree of menacing. We can’t wait to see the face-off between Srikant and Raaji ASAP!

6. Funny Srikant & JK Moments

The relatable bromance of Srikant and Talpade formed some of our favourite moments of season 1, and the trailer for season 2 promises us more of this jolly banter between the two trusted friends. Be it Srikant’s FOMO moment or Talpade’s JK moment, the bromance is REAL. (The look on Srikant’s face says it all). We can’t wait for more of their witty banter, all the while having each other’s backs. Friendship goals, these two are! What’s your fave Talpade moment from season 1?

7. The Promise Of Danger

Amazon Prime Video teased us with the caption “kuch aisa hone wala hai jiske baare mein hum soch bhi nahi sakte” when they announced the release of the trailer. Eep! Season 2 takes us to Chennai, and the TASC force appears to be battling with a new coalition between the ISI and the rebels. Not gonna lie, the BG music, and the whole murderous vibe of Raaji has us nervously biting our nails. Are you excited too?
