And so we have written down some kickass reasons why you should definitely drop by with your boo, squad or maybe even alone (because why not?) at this cultural hub in the city. There’s literally never a dull moment at this colourful complex in the city. There is always some kind of event being hosted here which could be anything from the showcase of dance, music or even handicrafts from different parts of the country. Dilli Haat gives you an opportunity to take in the beauty of each state through its offerings, be it food, something to shop or maybe even through cultural activities. If you’re someone who’s been to Dilli Haat, y’all know exactly what we’re talking about. Apart from hole-in-the-wall-like stalls, there are these really pretty thatched-roof cottages where you can pick up some quirky and artsy stuff, be it home decor items or apparels! Plus, the market has been designed in such a way that gives off this whole village-market vibe and makes it. 

5. To Sample Iconic Local Delicacies From Different Parts Of The Country

It’s not just a shopper’s paradise, but one for a foodie as well! They have these state-wise food stalls dishing out sumptuous-looking dishes ranging from spicy momos from the kiosk of Sikkim to Dal Baati Churma from Rajasthan. But that’s not all, there are several little stalls spread across the area that sell packaged desi snacks like Amavat, Khakra and Papad, to name a select few. Who’d say no to such yummies, not us for sure!

Be it colourful stalls and decorations, luminous lights making the colours pop under the night sky or the delicious aroma of food wafting through the air as you approach the food court. Plus, the comforting sound from Ektara instrument or the melodious tunes from a flute complete the whole fair-like vibe. You might even catch a live performance of folk dances if you happen to visit on the right day!

We are going to say it, Dilli Haat is pretty much the best option for you guys whether it’s for the purpose of a hatke date with boo or to hang out with your buddies. You can always gift your boo a little something from here that they can keep with themselves as little keepsake memory of date like no other. And when you’re with your buddies you can go food hopping trying the best of every state and keep hogging to your heart’s content.
