6 Tempting Dishes Like Fried Ice Cream & Palak Patta Chaat We Tried At Elation, GK

Good, lively music in the background, chilled drinks and mouth-watering food, isn’t this all we need for a relaxed evening with friends? And if you’ve been looking for such a place, then Elation in GK I is just where you need to be! The ambience and interiors of this place will leave you in awe and the authentic Continental and North Indian delicacies dished up here will make your tummy growl out loud. So without wasting any more time, here are 6 things we tried at Elation, scroll on!

1. Paan Mojito

We couldn't help ordering this one as soon as we saw it on the menu! The drink was served in a glass bottle with lots of mint leaves in it. Refreshing and flavourful, this drink is a fantastic blend of good ol’ mojito and our forever favourite meetha paan. The paan flavour in the mojito leaves an exciting aftertaste in your mouth that is refreshing and simply amazing. The drink was a perfect kickstart to our gastronomical journey here and we'd definitely recommend it to you guys!

2. Frozen Strawberry Margarita

You know what's better than a glass of margarita? A frozen, strawberry flavoured margarita, that's what! This blissful drink won our hearts as soon as it was placed in front of us, and we became fans right away. You can make out the distinct taste lime juice and triple sec in this drink, and the very evident flavour of strawberry goes wonderfully with the tequila. If you love to try new drinks every time you head out then this one should be on your list this summer.

3. Cheese-Chicken Croquettes

No drinking sesh with friends is ever complete without some drinks and finger food! So we ordered Cheese-Chicken Croquettes next and it was the main highlight of our meal here. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the texture of the croquettes was on point and they simply melted in our mouths wonderfully! The cheese and chicken chunks were perfectly seasoned and were super yummy to say the least!

4. Palak Patta Chaat

We tried one of the latest food fads on Instagram - Palak Patta Chaat! In this chaat, spinach leaves are dunked in cornflour batter and fried till they're crisp. Then, they are drizzled with yogurt, green chutney, red chutney and bhujia. Light and filling, sweet and sour, this chaat here is a party of flavours and is surely giving us some major #FoodGoals.

5. Kung Pao Chicken

After some yummy chaat, we were in the mood for some meaty delights and ordered the Kung Pao Chicken. Hot, juicy, chicken marinated with spices and cooked to perfection - this dish was all this and more. The gravy was just the way we like it and the aroma was too hard to resist. The peanuts, vegetables and chilli in this dish gave it the intense flavours that Kung Pao Chicken is famous for. We’d say don’t even think of missing this one out!

6. Fried Ice-Cream

These guys fried our beloved ice cream! This golden sweet ball served in a martini glass is something that we will never forget! The Fried Ice-Cream here was one of the most exciting desserts where the vanilla ice-cream is served under the cover of a ball made out of cornflakes. The cornflakes layered on top added crunchiness to the dessert and we polished off every last bite!
