Navratri, translating to nine nights, is imbued with festivities, dancing and joy all around! And one the highlights of this period is the fact that there are multiple places that host dandiya nights. Yep, it’s not just a thing in Gujarat and you don’t have to fly all the way to Ahmedabad to experience the garba atmosphere. You can go and dance the night away here in saadi Dilli as there are tons of exciting dandiya nights being held in the city this year. So put on your snazzy ghagra & choli or kurta-dhoti and check out these fun events with your entire tribe!

1. Dandiya Masti (Till 6th October)

If there’s one thing that everyone waits for with bated breath during Navratri, it’s dandiya raas. So you’ll be thrilled to know there’s one happening till 6th October at Rajwada Palace where you can go and unleash the dancer in your soul! The arena will have a 4,000 sq. ft. food court, photo-op spots, live band and LOTS more to make you do the happy dance. Plus, they will have daily arti at 8:45 PM which you must attend for a wholesome experience. The ticket per person starts at Rs 500, but you must quickly get your hands on them, or else they might just get sold out!

2. Dandiya Night @ Kutumb (4th October)

Get your dancing shoes and dandiya outfits ready as Kutumb in Rohini is inviting y’all for a super fun Dandiya Night on 4th October. There’s gonna be live dandiya performances, delish fare and so much more. You’ll be provided with dandiya sticks so you can play along. Fair warning, you’ve gotta return the sticks a once you’re done dancing around. The event starts at 7 PM, so make sure you reach there on time!

This one is an ongoing dance event happening at the Gujrat Vihar Lawns and you must definitely go check it out! The highlights of this one include food stalls that will whip up popular & traditional delicacies from the land of garba nights AKA Gujarat. The garba and dandiya-raas over here will continue till Thursday, the 3rd of October and the entry is for this JUST Rs 150, so you have no excuse to not book your spots!

4. Dandiya Night ‘19 Season 7 (4th October)

This one promises to be a fun-filled event where you’d want to tag along with your family and friends ‘cause the more the merrier. Happening in Sarita Vihar, this one will feature a live performance by the band Trityam who will make you sway and wing your dandiya sticks to the festive songs. Plus, these people will also be running a dandiya king and queen contest, lucky draw and more kickass attractions that’ll ensure that there isn’t a dull moment throughout!
