5 Feel Good Youtube Channels To Follow For Meditation & Yoga
The world is in an unprecedented situation. We are faced with unsettling times that even the most experienced experts in our world have no clue how to get out of. This has brought with it a lot of sadness (of missing out on our old, more social lives), anxiety (of job stability, physical health), anger (at our helplessness), boredom, loneliness etc. And the worst part is that the situation doesn't seem to be moving towards a positive end anytime soon. This has wreaked havoc on our mind, body and soul. But don’t worry we are here to help. Unlike others recommending you a 100 solutions, we are backing up our solutions. We have compiled a list of very interesting, very calming Youtube Channels for you to access that would help you keep all your sanity well and alive.
1. Yoga With Tim
We are well aware of how guys hardly find yoga attractive due to the dominance of women instructors in the field. So we bring to you this superb channel guided by a man Tim Sensei, for all reluctant guys, and for all girls wanting to slyly check out their tutors while they stretch. Having felt the tremendous effect of yoga and meditation on his personal mental health and body figure, Tim leads by experience. Teaching a mix of Iyengar and Vinyasa Flow yoga, Tim’s sessions, apart from full-body workouts, are majorly focused on your core, legs, hips, neck and shoulders. Sign up for his 30 day challenge videos and feel the difference yourself.

3. Shilpa’s Yoga
Shilpa Shetty is one Bollywood celeb who has carved out a special niche for herself as one of the fittest looking stars in India. She is a human ad for her yoga channel and hence is readily followed and endorsed by a lot of India’s population. Her channel has good exercises that are segregated by body zones which is quite useful as it keeps things different and interesting. We are fans of her routines for good posture and spine as they promote a beautiful body image and are already such sensitive areas for us workaholics.

4. Michael Sealy
I was a yoga buff and routinely practised it but could never find my focus for meditation. Tbh, I would actually end up laughing while practising mindfulness. But all this changed when I saw Sealy’s videos as it was quite literally the push I needed to put myself into the appropriate state of mind. Sealy is a certified hypnotist and hence very skilfully creates videos for his meditation process that engage your mind. With normal audio clips, it’s a task to stop your mind from straying, but the videos here induce a deep state of relaxation and calm and clinically are extremely effective for those who struggle to fall asleep due to overthinking.

5. Wisdom 2.0
Millennials today in some ways have it better than our previous generations. With the advent of technology, the world has become a global village and we are all a lot more aware of the world than our predecessors. This broad knowledge has also brought in us a sense of compassion and this compassion is exactly what Wisdom 2.0 promotes. Having formed a global community of speakers and experts who are renowned for their contributions towards wise and mindful living, Wisdom 2.0 hosts a large collection of videos that redefine meditation. They don’t only focus on meditation in the strictest sense of breathing exercise but also promote videos of people indulging in ways that promote a calmer, more peaceful living that is more harmonious with the world around us. Our personal favourites are the videos by Jon Kabat-Zinn who is the founder of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Clinic. Doesn’t the term itself sound therapeutic?
