As you may have guessed from the name, the backdrop of the movie is of a police emergency control room where the police officer on duty receives a mysterious call from a woman with a hidden agenda in mind. 3. Shershaah

Releasing on Amazon Prime Video, Shershaah is an ode to the bravehearts of the Kargil War who made it possible for India to win this momentous battle. In particular, this movie is the true story of a PVC awardee, brave Indian soldier, Captain Vikram Batra. He became a household name in 1999 when he drove out Pakistani soldiers from the Indian territory which immensely contributed to the final winning of India in the Kargil War. Make sure to give it a watch this Independence Day!

4. Bhuj: The Pride Of India

Bhuj narrates the untold story of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik and the bravery of 3,000 women of Madhapur in Gujarat during the war in 1971. With a brilliant star cast including Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Rana Daggubatti, Parineeti Chopra, Ammy Virk and Sonakshi Sinha & a gripping storyline, we’re sure this flick is going to be worth a watch. It's releasing on Disney+ Hotstar just before the 15th of August and we're totally going to watch it!
