With sweat and dust all over, commuting to college felt like the worst pain ever. But metro rides and E-rickshaw rides with our travelling buddies are what we immensely miss today. Commuting in a car just doesn’t have the same feeling, don’t you think so?
2. Campus Ki Chai

With jittering cold and fog all around, nothing can be compared to the feeling of a sizzling hot tea and a Chai-pe-Charcha sesh before a winter morning lecture! Be it Sudama Tea Stall or the tea stalls near Patel Chest, chai has always been an emotion for us DU-ites.
3. Fashion Trends Of The Era

With students from varied cultures, states and lifestyles, DU is a fashion hub with a plethora of different fashion styles including trends like hipster fashion, ethnic swag, swanky OOTD and more. Pulling off the rugged look of FabIndia kurtas, denim jeans, and a jhola, with a pen behind the ear was cool AF and we miss it like crazy!
4. Creativity All Around

With hundreds of budding artists and young minds, Delhi University has a youthful aura and creative energy of its own. We miss how DU brought out the best in us in those simpler times, made us grow to our fullest potential, and made us what we are today.
5. Sunbathing In The College Lawns
Sunbathing on the college lawns and gossiping with friends used to be a daily ritual. The light breezes and quaint gardens were to die for. Sitting on the grass, basking in the sun, and reading a novel was a total vibe check!
6. College Societies

DU's unique societal culture makes this University what it is. Interacting in a huge circle, building connections, and being with people who share the same passion as us was an experience in itself. Roaming on campus roads late in the evening after society rehearsals was indeed the most calming thing ever!
7. Bunking Lectures For Coffee

We need to agree that we just went to college to bunk classes and studying was the last priority. One of the most cherished memories is bunking lectures to chill with friends while sipping cold coffee from the canteen. Even if the coffee was bad, it was worth the fun!
8. Red Brick Walls

As much as we hated the ancient classrooms of the college with fans that gave awesome background music to the lectures, we were in love with the red brick walls of the college! A photo session against the walls was mandatory to certify us as a DU-ite. Walking through the empty corridors was so dreamy and we miss it to date!
9. Protests

College brought along the spirit of fighting for what is right. Delhi University is incomplete without its vigilant students who always stand up for the truth. This student unity and solidarity is what we deeply miss after growing up.
10. Campus Dogs

Every college had cute doggos on campus who were basically celebrities! Seeing them grow up on the campus was a beautiful feeling. Watching them simply come and sleep in classrooms during a lecture was adorable.
11. Freshers & Farewell Parties
Crashing at a society member’s flat for a crazy fresher’s or farewell party was almost a ritual. With affordable daaru and sutta in hand, the bonds that we created at these parties were simply amazing and still make us miss these parties.
12. Professors Who Changed Lives
As much as we hated attending lectures, we have to admit that being taught by the immensely learned faculty of Delhi University was a great learning experience. The professors actually left a mark on our minds and changed our ways of thinking.
13. Maggi & Momos
Thinking about college days cannot be complete without talking about street food! Gobbling up lip-smacking food from eateries near college used to be an everyday routine. Be it Maggi from Tom Uncle’s Maggi Point, momos, or chole bhature, we just cared to eat it all up!
14. Trips With College Buddies

A large part of our college life went into saying ‘Trip Par Chal Lo’ and still barely being able to go for a trip. But if you had THE Goa trip with your college buddies, you’re the luckiest of all. The feeling of travelling with friends gave us major thrills and College life was so much sweeter with the promise of a trip with your closest friends.
15. Fest Season

Fest season was legit the best season of Uni and has given us memories which we hold close to our hearts to date. Fest hopping, attending events, and singing along at concerts was a fantastic experience. Wearing sarees and kurtas while organising fests has to be on top of the list!
16. Freedom & Youth

The youthful and passionate energy on campus simply uplifted our moods and encouraged us to achieve so much. It is needless to say that we all miss the feeling of being young and free college students. *Cries In A Corner*
17. Street Shopping

A large chunk of our college wardrobe was obviously from Sarojini and Janpath. We deeply miss the after-college shopping spree with the girl gang (and bargaining of course). We might now doubt our fashion choices from our college days, but we were on fire back then!
18. North Campus VS South Campus Debate
Are you even a DU-ite if you did not boast about your campus? South Campus kids used to be cool AF and North Campus kids were amazingly talented. Debating about the supremacy of North Campus or South Campus was low-key fun! *Meanwhile, off-campus students sitting in a corner*
19. Greenery On Campus

With plants, lush green trees, and vibrantly hued flowers, the college campuses looked fab surrounded by all the greenery. Spending the entire day amidst this natural beauty felt wonderful. It was also so beautiful to see the leaves turn yellow and fall off with the wind in autumn as we lay sprawled out on the grounds after classes.
20. Friendships & Bonds
