So, to keep the spark alive between you soulmates, we’ve come up with the perfect list of quirky places for your date night adventures, that doesn’t involve a restaurant but might just give you a taste for experimentation. 1. Hauz Khas Complex

A popular lovers’ hangout spot, the Hauz Khas complex consists of the sprawling lands of the Hauz Khas Fort, Deer Park and the lake area that extends beyond the park. Not only is this area absolutely stunning with old-world charm and a rustic ambience, but it’s also perfect to sit back and enjoy the sunset or have a deep conversation with bae! A world of caution - the place is festooned with guards, so we’d tell you to keep the PDA at a minimum! *wink*

2. Museum Of Illusions

This super fun museum has been stealing hearts since the time it was inaugurated and has proved to be a certain hit with couples. It has cool illusion tricks on display and even an anti-gravity room that looks uber fun. Bring along your bae and test out some of these neat tricks and exhibits that simply ooze fun! You can even bring along your cameras and click away for those perfect ‘gram pictures!

3. Lodhi Gardens

If your idea of a perfect date is to sit among blooming buds of sprawling gardens, with a picnic basket in hand as you chat away or spend peaceful moments out in nature with your SO, then Lodhi Gardens is the place for you! This park is swathed in beautiful blooms and flowers this time of the year and with the old monuments in the background, it’ll also make for a great photo op with your bae!

4. The Garden Of Five Senses

The Garden Of Five Senses is a peaceful park with well-manicured flowers, plants and trees spreading their sweet scent all over the park. This park also has many events that happen here which you can attend with your better half on a date. The Garden Tourism Festival 2021, is in progress currently with stunning floral arrangements, beautiful flowers, plants and bonsai on display, making it the perfect hatke date, if you ask us! There are even food stalls here to turn to if you start feeling hungry!

5. India Gate Complex

Yup, you knew this was going to be on the list and we obliged. It has become a common practice nowadays for couples to drive down here after dinner and take an evening stroll here, or eat ice cream while they take in the magnificently lit up India gate and the adjoining lush green gardens. Even the pond that falls within the complex holds a romantic air about it at night, so do drop by with bae on a nice breezy night if you haven’t done so already!

6. Parthasarathy Rocks, JNU

Delhi is a vast city full of romantic hidden gems and here’s another that just screams dreamy. Located on the JNU campus is the beautiful Parthasarathy Rocks and considered to be the highest point in Delhi with views that will leave you breathless, this area a definite must-visit. That is if you can gain access, which might be harder than you can imagine since it is not open to the general public and you need a JNU ID card for the same! But trust us when we say that this will be one of the best dates ever with your bae!

7. Kamla Nehru Ridge Park

Another area covered in greenery and flowers of all kinds, this hilly road near Kamla Nehru is a beauty to behold and we promise that a stroll here, hand in hand with bae will be an experience you’ll want to undertake again and again. It will give you the feeling of being in a hilly area when you're right smack in the middle of Delhi. So, spend some quality time with bae while on a drive/ stroll here and you’ll thank us later!

8. Worlds Of Wonder 

Some fun in the sun while you splash about in the water has been a childhood fantasy of most of us. They even have an amusement park for other crazy rides, food stalls and so be sure to check ‘em out and have a blast with your boo!

9. Nehru Planetarium

One of the five planetariums named after the first Prime Minister of India, Nehru Planetarium is situated in the green surroundings of the Teen Murti House. We admit that spotting even a single bright star in the night sky of Delhi is a feat in itself, yet what if we tell you that you’ll get to witness an entire galaxy full of stars, planets and otherworldly bodies at the planetarium? Cool right? Making for the perfect date after lockdown, their Hybrid projector shows that play on the huge dome of the planetarium is truly a class apart, so bring your bae here the next time, and get lost in the numerous stars!

10. Sunder Nursery

Sunder Nursery was a hundred-year-old nursery that has now been converted into a heritage park and is dotted with numerous plant and tree species with gorgeous flowers blanketing the area during spring and summer. Plan a long romantic heart-to-heart with your SO as you stroll hand-in-hand through romantic gardens, while the sun sets in the background casting beautiful shadows around you! Sounds blissful to us!
