This stunning temple houses a 6 ft tall statue of Sugreeva and it highly resembles the idol of Lord Hanuman. If you take a closer look, you’ll see 2 teeth stinking out and that’s what makes the idol of Sugreeva different from Lord Hanuman’s. There is also an idol of Lord Venkateshwara on the pedestal.

2. Kote Venkataramana Temple

Built-in 1689 by King Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar, it comprises of a garbhagriha. The interiors of this temple are decorated modestly and the pillars are engraved with mythical beasts from Hindu legends. Vaikuntha Ekadashi is a grand festival that is celebrated here and is swarmed with devotees on the festival days!

3. Kempfort Shiva Temple

The Kempfort Shiva Temple features a 65 ft tall statue of Lord Shiva and is truly a sight to behold. A popular religious spot in town, this temple is swarmed with visitors throughout the year. Built-in 1995 by sculptor Kashinath, there’s also a 32 ft tall statue of Lord Ganesha on the premises.
