1. Bon Gateau

This cutesy little cafe cum bakery with inviting blue doors and red bricks is a popular hangout for most students. They’re known to serve one of the best cheesecakes and truffles *ooh* in Amritsar. Their menu includes a great range of Indian and Continental dishes. We’d recommend trying the Chicken Barbecue Sandwich and the Trio Pastry.

2. The Kulcha Land 

The Kulcha Land serves the staple food of Amritsar. With Amritsari Kulcha, Masala Kulcha, Paneer Kulcha and Lassi on their menu, they attract huge crowds everyday. Perfectly cooked, flaky on the outside and soft on the inside, their kulchas deserve some serious praise! One plate of kulchas will cost your around 60 bucks.

If you’re a pizza lover then this place might be the one to hit up. Praised highly for its pizzas and shakes, Bakes & Beans is a cosy little cafe, just perfect to chill out at with your gang. We’d recommend trying the Caesar Salad, Chicken Pasta and Coffee.

4. Cafe Chokolade

Known for its legendary thick shakes and pizzas, Cafe Chokolade’s got the perfect urban cafe vibe going for it. Their menu has a range of shakes, pastas, fries, hotdogs, kathi rolls and more comfort food! Don’t miss out on the KitKat Shake, Chicken Kathi Roll and Fried Chicken when here.

If either burgers or pizzas are your bae, this place is going to make you happy. Cafe Hoppers has about 25 varieties of pizza, a good variety of burgers, wraps and much more on their menu. You have to give their Chicken Maharaja Burger a shot, trust us you won’t regret it! Among other things you can order the Pollo Alfredo Pasta, Minty Chicken Tikka Wrap and the After 8 Shake (Blissful for mint chocolate fans). They’ve also got live music playing some weekends!

The menu at this cafe is sure to amaze you, be it the awesome burritos, sizzlers or quesadillas. What makes it a deal maker though is their signature Paninis. Our favourite is the Tuscan Chicken Panini and we suggest you try it too. Another delicious must try is the the Garden Fresh Pizza, full of veggies and thin crust goodness!

Chill vibes and great food, that’s all you need to make it a good outing and this place gives us just that! They’re known to serve some delectable fries, pasta and Chinese food. We’d recommend trying the Bay Watch Pizza. It’s the perfect place to hang out with your friends and enjoy good food in great company!
